Randy George is a full-time Partner at Snowpoint Ventures. He brings more than four decades of military leadership to the firm, applying deep operational and strategic expertise to diligence prospective investments and to help portfolio companies deliver transformative technology to the U.S. government and national security enterprise.
George enlisted in the U.S. Army directly out of high school and rose through every rank to four-star general, culminating in service as the 41st Chief of Staff of the Army from 2023-2026. In that role he was responsible for the readiness, training, infrastructure, and transformation of a force of approximately one million personnel and a budget exceeding $190 billion. He led the Army’s most comprehensive, future-focused transformation in more than five decades—accelerating the integration of cutting-edge technology, building consensus around a clear strategic vision, and navigating complex stakeholder environments in a rapidly changing security landscape.
His career spans high-tempo, mission-critical operations across multiple theaters. That perspective enables Snowpoint and its portfolio companies to identify technologies that are truly game-changing for the warfighter and to execute with the speed and rigor the national security mission demands.
