Director, Finance
JD leads the finance operations at Snowpoint, overseeing management company finance, fund operations, and financial reporting. He serves as a strategic partner to the firm's leadership team, supporting fund compliance, portfolio exit transactions, and the continued growth of the firm leveraging his workhorse mentality to ensure the continued success of Snowpoint.
Prior to joining Snowpoint, JD spent over eight years with the Financial Services Assurance practice at CohnReznick, where he advised alternative investment managers on complex accounting, valuation, financial reporting, and regulatory matters. He developed deep expertise across private equity, venture capital, and Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) structures, helping clients with AUM ranging $50M - $3B navigate evolving industry requirements and operational challenges.
JD earned his Master's in the Science of Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. During his time in college, he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Soccer program, serving as a captain for two years. He then went on to serve as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut while pursuing his Master’s degree.
