Principal
Ben is a Principal at Snowpoint. He evaluates investments with a perspective few investors have: he has been the end user of the kind of technology Snowpoint backs. He drives deal processes from sourcing through close, grounded in firsthand knowledge of how special operations units actually adopt new capabilities.
Ben commissioned as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Air Force Special Operations Command and Joint Special Operations Command as an intelligence analyst and special mission aviator, with deployments to East Africa. That experience gave him a working sense of which technologies hold up in real operational settings. He then joined Meta as a Product Program Manager in Legal and Partner Operations, where he saw how the largest technology companies build and ship products at global scale, the standard dual-purpose companies must ultimately meet on the commercial side.
He holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago. The combination of operational intelligence experience, big-tech execution, and legal and financial training equips him to drive a deal from first meeting to signed documents, from a founder's operating plan through the term sheet and the regulatory questions in between.
